Kaspersky announces strategic partnership with DSD Europe to boost MSP adoption
Kaspersky continues to enhance its channel operations providing more support and opportunities for its SMB partners.
LONDON, UK, 3rd April 2023 – Today, Kaspersky has announced a new strategic partnership with the world’s second largest MSP distributor, DSD Europe. Through this collaboration, Kaspersky aims to provide value-added services to smaller SMB providers, resellers and end users across the UK, enabling them to take advantage of a comprehensive security portfolio.
Due to the increasing complexity of IT, smaller end-users are increasingly turning to Managed Service Providers (MSP) that can supply them with a complete digital workplace. In the self-developed cloud marketplace, DSD Europe partners can purchase both software and cloud services using the same simple ordering process. This is done through a platform that meets every IT need, from a security, organisation and productivity points of view. DSD Europe has been chosen due to its proven track record of providing value-added services to both large and especially fast-growing MSPs.
Stuart Peters, GM, Kaspersky UK&I, stated: “We are committed to providing the MSP market with the best-in-class cybersecurity solutions to fend against any form of cyber threat. As we look to serve smaller and medium businesses, DSD Europe is the ideal choice for us to reach a new host of fast-growing MSPs and strengthen our go-to-market strategy”.
The partnership will enhance Kaspersky’s existing channel distribution model, leveraging the experience that it has built over the years on the enterprise side and making it readily available to the smaller SMB sector in the UK. This will be streamlined through DSD’s cohesive and intuitive self-service environment, where partners can source training, business development, contract creation, lead-generation activity, pre-sales, and technical support in a one-stop-shop fashion.
“The UK is a strategic new market for us, and one in which we aim to establish a long-term strategic presence,” commented Stan Laurijssen, Sales Director at DSD Europe. “Having worked with Kaspersky across the Benelux region with a high degree of success until now, it is the ideal cybersecurity partner to help us cement a strong foothold in the UK. We look forward to a prosperous cooperation.”
The partnership with DSD Europe will also enable resellers and MSPs to take advantage of Kaspersky’s Consumer Business Alliances (CBA), offering a unique, streamlined subscription model. As opposed to a one-off transaction, this business model is set to drive higher renewal retention and for partners to foster a closer relationship with the end-user.
